When is my final paycheck due in Arizona?

Enter your last day and how the job ended. The calculator applies the Arizona deadline, tells you how many days late the payment is, and estimates the possible late-pay penalty. It runs in your browser — nothing is sent to us.

Only matters in states where the deadline is "the next payday".

How this is calculated

The deadline is the statutory maximum in Arizona: On discharge, wages due must be paid within seven working days or by the end of the next regular pay period, whichever is sooner (A.R.S. § 23-353). If you quit, all wages due are payable in the usual manner no later than the regular payday for the pay period in which you stopped working. The penalty estimate uses A.R.S. § 23-355: an employer that fails to pay wages when due is liable for treble damages — three times the wages owed — where the failure is not justified. The court decides whether the multiplier applies.

This is an estimate, not a legal determination. Penalty provisions usually depend on the employer acting wilfully, and a court or agency decides the final number. Use the result to decide whether to send a demand, not as a promise of what you will collect.
