When is my final paycheck due in Nevada?

Enter your last day and how the job ended. The calculator applies the Nevada deadline, tells you how many days late the payment is, and estimates the possible late-pay penalty. It runs in your browser — nothing is sent to us.

Only matters in states where the deadline is "the next payday".

How this is calculated

The deadline is the statutory maximum in Nevada: NRS 608.020: an employee who is discharged must be paid immediately — the wages due are payable at the time of discharge, not on the next payday. NRS 608.030: an employee who resigns must be paid the wages due by the next regular payday, or within seven days if the employer has no regular payday. The penalty estimate uses NRS 608.040: if wages are not paid when due, the employer owes the employee the wages plus up to 30 days of additional wages at the employee's regular daily rate.

This is an estimate, not a legal determination. Penalty provisions usually depend on the employer acting wilfully, and a court or agency decides the final number. Use the result to decide whether to send a demand, not as a promise of what you will collect.
